Imitative Level
This level is comprised of everything you do that you've learned through imitation. It encompasses so many parts of your daily life - your financial dealings, driving a car, reading and writing, most kinds of employment (except for purely creative or intellectual occupations), how well you function in society groups such as school, church, or club organizations, how well you deal with authority figures, even whether or not you dress and present yourself in public in such a way as to be able to succeed at the interactions you want to have with other people. All of these things and many more have been learned through imitation.
Since imitation goes on in the unconscious mind for the most part, and in western society it is so all-pervasive, it may not be easy at first to track all the parts of your life that exist in the imitative level. In Western society, the imitative level even takes over some functions that correctly belong to other levels. For example, do you choose your foods because that's what you've always eaten, or because everybody else eats that way? This would be an example of imitative programming. Alternately, you could make a study of what is really healthy and good for your own particular body at any particular stage of your life, taking into account all the factors such as climate, amount of physical work or exercise, emotional stresses, body type and propensities, etc. This would then remove your eating habits from imitation and place them on a more conscious level.
Think about as many aspects of your imitative life as you can, scan your life to date, especially in the areas of
Education
Finances
Employment/career
Driving
Relationships to society and authority
Communication
Ability to get things done
Make an evaluation of when in your life you think these areas have been most in order for you so far. Remember that you can change this evaluation later as your circumstances change and as you gain more understanding of which aspects of your life fall under the Imitative Level.
